"The irony is that a lot of people seem to think that "society" has conditioned them to accept a mediocre existence, but maybe the problem is that people have been conditioned to believe that anything short of living out a hollywood movie is mediocre.
There was a time when people took pride in doing an honest day's work, even if their job wasn't glamorous. Now it seems if you aren't jetting around to foreign countries or doing art or designing video games then you are a failure. Maybe people would be happier if they worried less about finding the perfect career and worked more on building relationships with their family, friends, and community."
