I didn't expect to get a research position in my first year, but I got it. Hopefully, it's something I want to do in the future.

I'm just going to be patient and work on the things I want. Everything turned out better than expected.

In the future, I want to attend more of UCSB's art shows as well as free film showings. I know this school isn't just a party school; I want to be more active.
